Typical Use
Used to investigate elevated homocysteine or suspected B-vitamin deficiency and assess whether selected MTHFR variants may contribute to altered homocysteine metabolism. Common MTHFR variants do not by themselves diagnose a disease or determine cardiovascular or blood-clot risk.
