IgE 100 Allergy Specific panel provides broad blood-based assessment of sensitisation to 100 food and environmental allergens. From a single serum sample, it measures allergen-specific IgE antibodies, total IgE and IgE reactivity to cross-reactive carbohydrate determinants (CCD).
The panel covers:
- House dust and storage mites
- Grass, tree and weed pollens
- Moulds and Candida
- Cats, dogs, horses, rabbits and rodents
- House dust and cockroaches
- Honeybee and wasp venom
- Latex
- Milk, egg white and cheese
- Fish and shellfish
- Beef, pork, chicken and lamb
- Grains, soy, nuts and seeds
- Fruits and vegetables
- Baker’s yeast and cacao
The CCD result may help identify potential cross-reactivity when interpreting multiple allergen-specific IgE results.
Results indicate IgE sensitisation and do not, by themselves, confirm a clinical allergy. They should be interpreted alongside symptoms, exposure history and appropriate medical advice. This test does not assess food intolerance or non-IgE-mediated food reactions.
